Coach Le comes to RSA with experience as a wrestler, and has coached wrestling for the past 5 years. He began his volleyball coaching career for Orem High School's feeder program two years ago. Currently serves as the sophomore head coach at American Fork High School. Coach Le grew up playing volleyball as a setter and loved running the offense, and being able to touch the ball almost every single time. Building a good rapport with athletes through trust & communication are keys to a successful program.
Coach Maki hails from Indiana where she has been around volleyball since she was a little kid. Her father was a coach who helped her find a passion and desire to play at a competitive level. She prepped playing high school as a setter all four years. From high school she went and played for Southern Virginia University as the lead setter while attending school. She is currently the girls head volleyball coach at American Heritage School in American Fork.
Prepped and played volleyball in Las Vegas as an outside hitter. Coached volleyball for the last 4 years, starting with the Herriman High School boys team. Heavily involved with the Herriman mini-Mustang feeder program. Most recently has coached the past two years with the Lehi High School boys volleyball program. Loves spending time with his wife and five children camping and going to drag races in Las Vegas.
Coach Smith hails from Southern California where she prepped and played club volleyball during her high school years. As a freshman she played middle blocker at Vintage Volleyball Club, and was coached by our distinguished RSA Club President, Mike Muaina. Coach Aubrey Muaina was on that same team as well. As a sophomore Coach Smith played on the varsity team at Murrieta Valley High School both as a middle and opposite. After high school she tried out at Saddleback Community College and made the team as a walk on. Coach Smith enjoys playing volleyball for fun, and really looks forward to getting back into the gym to pass along her experience and love of the game to the next generation of volleyball players.
Coach Shepherd has been around volleyball practically all her life. When she made the varsity volleyball team as a freshman at Kimberly High School in Idaho her love of volleyball skyrocketed. Coach Shepherd has played several positions, but excelled as a setter and opposite hitter. After high school she played one year at Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas, and the following year played at College of Southern Idaho as a setter at both schools. She has coached as an assistant for Club Canyon 18's national team, a freshman coach at American Heritage Academy, and ran volleyball camps and workshops for all ages. Coach Shepherd comes to RSA well versed and experienced in the game of volleyball.
High School & Club Career, prepped at Murrieta Valley HS, CA as a freshman playing varsity. Played at Lone Peak HS, UT, sophomore, junior and senior years on varsity with 3 state final showings, and back-to-back state championships 2008, 2009. IVA Regional Champs 18U with 801 VBC 2008, IVA Runner Up 17U 801 VBC 2009.
College:1 year stint at Southern Virginia University, starter OH, 2 year starter as an OH at Western Texas College, 2 showings at NJCAA national tournament. Named AVCA All-American at Western Texas University.

Coach Brown began her love for volleyball at Waianae High School in Hawaii. In 1994, she was recruited by Coach Wilfred Navalta to play as a middle blocker for BYU-Hawaii. At BYU-H, and as a starting middle blocker, Coach Brown helped her team win three NAIA National Championships, back-to-back-to-back, in 1994, 1995, and 1996. After winning her 3rd National Championship, Coach Brown took a break from playing volleyball, and decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Arizona. She garnered a number of accolades, including All-Region, All-Conference, and All-American honors. She coached girls club, 16 Elite at High Country VBC, assistant coach for Surge 17's,, and served as the head JV coach at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah.
Coach Clark prepped playing volleyball at Centerville HS in Centerville, Ohio; named first and second all-state and voted 'Best Offensive Player' respectively.
2017-2019 played at Southern Virginia University as an outside-hitter his sophomore, junior and senior years; 2017 named to All-CVC First Team, 2018 named to All-CVC First Team, 2019 named to All-CVC First Team, and earned 2019 & 2020 AVCA 1st Team All-American.
Currently, Coach Clark plays professional men's volleyball for the Utah Stingers.
Coach Baugh started playing volleyball in high school in Arizona. By his sophomore year in high school he made the varsity squad and secured his starting position as the libero. From his sophomore year through his senior year his varsity team made an appearance at a state semi final and 2 state finals. After his high school experience, Coach Baugh moved to Utah, and played at Utah Valley University as right side, libero, and setter In 2020 he went to a tryout for the Utah Stingers, a mens professional volleyball team, and made the roster as a libero. Coach Baugh is very passionate about this sport, and continues to learn every aspect of every position, strategies, and drills that helps him with his own knowledge of the game.
